209 is from San Francisco where it is made in a copper pot-still from botanicals macerated in corn-based spirit. The botanical recipe includes lemon as a citrus component and (unusually) bergamot as an ingredient. The cardamom, coriander, and juniper characteristics are well balanced against one another and the earthy characteristics of cassia and orris serve to give this spirit weight on the palate and add length to the finish. Very well made.
