Amarone is a wine of antique lineage. It has a limited production with grapes coming from the classic zone of Valpolicella. The grapes are hand picked, pressed and vinified according to the traditional method, from dried grapes.
Drying concentrates all the components of the grape and yields wines of remarkable intensity and length.
Because yields of wine are lowered by this production process it is rarely an inexpensive wine. Fabiano consistently do an excellent job of producing a classic Amarone at a reasonable price.
Fabiano Amarone stands out for its intense colour with garnet highlights; it has a warming and elegant taste with very complex olfactory notes and alternating sensations of red fruits.
