Antonio Mas’ first career was as an agronomist (trained by the Food & Agriculture Organisation). Later in life he founded a single-estate winery in the Uco valley and now employs his sons as oenologist and executive director.
This Cabernet Sauvignon represents Argentina’s hope of staking their claim to another of Bordeaux’s grape varieties. It is a confident, and poised example of South American Cabernet, Antonio says it is a wine that “makes you think philosophically” – how about that?
