The Botran range of rums is made in Guatemala and is aged in a solera system that includes ex-bourbon barrels as well as barrels used to mature port and sherry. These different types of wood impart unique characteristics to the rum. This is a medium to full-bodied rum that shows caramel, dried fruit and vanilla on the nose and long, slightly sweet finish tempered by an edge of spice.
