Built in 1898, on the banks of the river Spey, Caperdonich distillery was decommissioned permanently and subsequently dismantled brick by brick in 2011.
Even in its heyday this tiny distillery only ever produced whisky in small batches.

Matured in American oak barrels and non-chill filtered, this rare and robust single malt is subtly layered with initial aromas of peat, followed by a taste of apple and brown sugar, gentle ginger and warming orange.
