Arguably the finest Rosé Champagne in production. The wine is a blend of 80% Chardonnay. This reflect the house’s commitment to this grape variety – a good thing since it makes the wine worthy of ageing both on the lees and in the cellar. The balance of the base wine is made up of Pinot Noir made into a red wine and blended into the base wine for Dom Ruinart. Almost needless to say the grapes selected to make these wines are the finest the house can find and the utmost care is taken to make the blend and mature the wines that will eventually be labelled as Dom Ruinart. It is produced only in the best vintages and is a Rosé wine that shows strawberry, raspberry, blood orange, rose, and violets and some tropical fruit aromas and flavours as well as brioche and almonds and toast and fig.
