Hedonistas de la Fe Espadín is produced by maestro mezcalero Gerardo “Kaín” Santiago Hernandez in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca.
This mezcal is made in small batches according to a 500-year-old tradition.
Their agave is hand harvested and toasted in earthen mounds.
It is mashed with a stone wheel, and fermented in traditional open-air wooden vats.
Well-balanced with brine, gentle smoke, and honey notes on the nose, and white pepper, grapefruit peel, and tropical fruit on the palate.
Perfect for sipping, and cocktail friendly, especially in a Negroni, Margarita, or Paloma.
