Montepulciano is the grape most famously made in Central Italy’s Abruzzo region. Not to be confused with the town of the same name in Tuscany that makes a completely different wine called Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Ah, Italy… rarely simple! Sensi have been making Montepulciano for 4 generations since 1895, so they have a wealth of experience to draw from in order to craft this fine, great value spicy red which pairs beautifully with ragu and penne arabbiata dishes.
