Domaine Gaëlle et Jérôme MEUNIER Puligny-Montrachet

Jérôme and Gaëlle both worked in the wine world before starting their vineyard. Jérôme managed a domaine, Gaëlle ran a wine laboratory.

They bought land around Mercurey and bottled their first vintage in 2007.

Subsequently, in 2011, they expanded their estate by taking over 4 hectares of vines in Puligny-Montrachet following the retirement of another winemaker.

The grapes for this wine come from Nosroyes and Petites Nosroyes on the Meursault side of Puligny.

The soil is lay and limestone and the grapes are hand harvested. After pressing the juice is left to settle for a few days then
put into French oak barrels (30% new).

Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 12 months in barrel before being blended
and bottled.
