Solely matured in Australian ‘big red’ wine barrels (Shiraz, Cabernet and Pinot) and aged for three Melbourne years, this Whisky represents the best of the country’s unique climate, terroir and raw materials.
The locally sourced, uncharred, red wine barrels not only give Nova its vibrant red ochre colour but also retain the wine tannins which creates a light and uniquely fruity taste, with a long spicy finish.
Nose: Starts with bright aromas from red berries, orchard fruits combined with soft oak spice
Palate: Balances perfectly complex red berry fruits and vanilla, together with caramel and spice
Finish: Long, fruity and of course slightly tannic
