Arbikie Estate is a family-owned working farm on the east coast of Angus, Scotland.
This is an estate profoundly shaped by its environment: the red sandstone-tinted soil, the powerful sea and the turbulent weather give Arbike a character found nowhere else. And here, situated where land meets sea, sits the distillery – created from an ancient barn, it is a place with all the ingredients required to produce authentic spirits of the highest quality.
AK’S Gin is distilled using wheat farmed at Arbikie. It is flavoured with fresh honey, black pepper and cardamon chosen by Master Distiller, Kirsty Black.
The honey originates from the Estate’s bees that forage the local area. The Zulu wheat is grown in Arbikie’s own fields a stones-throw from the distillery.
It is the creation of their own spirit that sets Arbikie apart. As a field to bottle operation, they grow, distil and bottle on their own property.
