The Domaine d’Audaux is located on a hillside between the gaves (rivers) of Oloron and Pau, in effect a continuation of the coteaux de Jurançon.
The idea behind Domaine d’Audaux is to take the undervalued and extremely high quality grape, Petit Manseng and make the very best wine possible.
The grapes, from 3 separate sites with their own distinct terroirs, are hand-harvested, foot-trodden and basket pressed.
They are then fermented (very slowly) and aged, on their lees, in 3-6 year old French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes
Pronounced tropical fruit aromas and flavours, with a captivating texture and richness balanced by a powerful citrus core.
