Laphroaig Lore is a rich and complex expression of the classic Laphroaig flavours. It pays a powerful homage to generations of highly skilled whisky distillers.
By maturing the liquid in small batches in five unique casks, Laphroaig have create a liquid that is rich, complex, varied and above all storied.

They have created a whisky which uses different aged liquids ranging from 7 to 21 years, allowing them to create the richest possible Laphroaig flavour. It allegedly includes some of Laphroaig’s most prized and valuable stocks.

As the name suggests, this new offering from Laphroaig is inspired by the knowledge and traditions passed down from generation to generation of its distillery managers, blenders and craftsmen. It now forms a permanent part of their collection

This whisky was also named 2019 Best No Age Statement Scotch by Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.

Enjoy Laphroaig Lore neat, on the rocks, or with a splash of water to fully unlock its complex flavour profile.

Tasting Notes

Rich and smoky with seaside minerals, a hint of ash and bitter chocolate. Vanilla follows with oily unroasted chestnuts and hint of fudge, then a malty sweetness. A drop of water adds a gentle clotted cream note with citrus fruit.
