Discarded Grape Skin Chardonnay Vodka is made by distilling all the parts of the wine-making process that are normally discarded; the pomace.
Typically, producers sell this on or in most cases, destroy it. In a bid to combat this needless waste, Discarded has distilled this pomace into the base of their Grape Skin Vodka.
One of the waste products created by dealcoholizing wine is called ‘wine alcohol’, which actually retains a lot of the flavour of the original grape.
This Chardonnay ‘wine alcohol’ is blending into the Discarded Grape Skin Vodka. This then creates something totally new, innovative, sustainable, and utterly delicious.
The unique distilling process of this zero-waste vodka provides a crisp aroma of fresh green apple. These then move deeper into almond croissant notes, and a bright lychee lift. A luscious mouthfeel, with fruit-forward notes of Williams pear, guava and starfruit, complete with a beautiful finish of pink peppercorns.

Producer’s Tasting Notes
Nose: A clean crisp aroma with fresh green apple notes. These then move into deeper almond croissant notes, and a bright lychee lift.
Palate: A luscious mouthfeel, with fruit-forward notes of Williams pear, guava and starfruit.
Finish: A beautiful pink peppercorn finish. Overall, a crisp and refreshing vodka.
