Luxardo had a Bitter Bianco recipe in its records since the early 1900s. However, with the destruction of the company in  Zadar (Croatia) in 1944, no samples or existing bottles were ever found.

Luxardo Bitter Bianco uses the same infusions of bitter herbs, aromatic plants, and citrus fruits as Luxardo Bitter.

Before blending, they distil most of these infusions, making the colour transparent and slightly altering the flavour profile.

They add an infusion of Roman Absinth (Wormwood) at the end to enhance the bitter taste, which gives the product its ivory colour.

Luxardo Bitter Bianco is perfect for twisting classic cocktails, such as transforming a Negroni into a Negroni Bianco or a Paloma into a Paloma Bianco.

You can also enjoy it neat or over ice as a classic aperitivo.
