Like the neighbourhood of Leith that inspires it, Woven Homemade is vibrant, bold, and full of character. It has sweetness and spice in equal measure.
Woven Blending Studio launched to make the art of whisky blending more experimental, more creative and more fun. Their approach to whisky-making is itself a blend of different ideas. They source whiskies for their blends from around the world and judge their quality by the liquid’s ability to contribute to their whisky experience.
Two lovely Speyside single malts have been combined on the 14/05/23, with a Lowland single grain, and married for 70 days. This therefore results in a gorgeously fruity and floral dram.
This whisky is a blend that is at once bold, graceful, and vibrant. It boasts bright grassy flavours up front and layers of nutty, fruity, and spiced complexity. It sits roundly on the palate and then has an extraordinarily long, satisfying finish.
In a nod to Leith’s  role in history as a hub for wine and spirit merchants, the distillers utilised two different types of sherry cask in the finishing of this whisky: Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximenez.
It’s non-chill filtered with a big flavour and all-natural colouring.
Woven Homemade drinks beautifully neat, as a half-and-half, or in any manner of mixed drinks.
