Aluna Coconut Rum is a sublime blend of rums from Guatemala and the Caribbean with all-natural toasted coconut flavours.
It was created by friends who loved great rums and fresh tasting, natural ingredients but were tired of spirits that were too sweet, with their flavours hidden behind a wall of sugar. Its principles are fine rum, natural coconut and low sugar.
Fine Rum
This Guatemala rum is made with first press sugar cane (miel de caña), fermented with yeast from the pineapple plant. This creates a light, floral and smooth rum with a natural subtle sweetness. To this, they add selected classic Caribbean rums to create an elegant, balanced blend.
Natural Coconut
Aluna only uses sustainably sourced coconut water and all-natural toasted coconut flavours. It therefore offers the true flavour of coconut alongside the authentic warmth and complexity of high quality rum, with no sticky, sugary aftertaste.
Low Sugar
They do not use the high levels of sugar found in many other coconut rums which means you’re free to sweeten your cocktails with better choices. Instead, try fruit syrups, agave or other low-GI options.
