This brandy contains a blend of brandies that were aged for 20 years minimum. It is bottled by the Guasch family who own one small still that produces 50 to 60 casks of brandy a year. As fine Armagnac ages in barrel, it takes on more spice characteristics. By the standards of the region, this is a fine brandy – it shows clove, cinnamon, anise, vanilla and nutmeg on the nose and palate. The spice characteristics are met by dried fruits (figs, currants, sultanas) and candied orange peel.
