The team at the legendary independent bottler Berry Brothers and Rudd specially selected a blend of sherry cask single malts to create this classic example of a well-sherried Scotch whisky.
Sherry casks are a luxury in Whisky making. These expensive barrels imbue a spirit with distinctive notes of deep fruit, citrus and nuts. Here, it manifests in an incredibly rich, dark and almost liqueur-like sweetness of raisins, prunes and soft spices, with an unctuous, silky texture.

Producer’s Tasting Notes
Nose: Blood orange juice, brown sugar and dried fruit lead with a hint of charred pineapple and perhaps some rancio. Â Invitingly seductive, the bouquet has classic dark Sherry and prune-like notes.
Palate: Black fruit compote, herbal tea and a little bitter dark chocolate. Seville orange marmalade and fiery cinnamon add depth. Sweet, well-balanced fruit then appears on a Sherry bed.
Finish: Christmas cake notes remain following a long satisfying finish.
