Produced in the Puglia region of Italy, this wine is made from Primitivo grapes and is aged in oak barrels for four months. Grapes are grown with the traditional “Alberello” cultivation method, harvested manually in the end of August when the berries reach their best maturation status.
After the harvest, fermentation takes place under a controlled temperature of 33° for approx. 25 days to emphasize its structure and the aromas of the wine. Then, the wine is aged in oak barriques for about 4 months.
Intense ruby red colour with a bouquet of mature fruits and spicy notes. On the palate it is well-balanced with mature fruits, spicy notes, medium tannins and a long finish.
