Bushmills 21 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a glorious blend of single malts matured in a variety of casks for a rich, full mouthfeel.
The world’s oldest licenced whiskey distillery, Bushmills, lies on the northern coast of Ireland. It received its licence to distil in 1608, and since then, it has maintained a rich history.
For over 400 years, Bushmills has been upholding the tradition of crafting whiskey. Each generation has been passing down its expertise and craftsmanship.
Bushmills 21-Year-Old marries single malts matured for at least 19 years in hand-selected Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels. It then finishes them in Madeira casks for a further two years.
This unusually long finishing period allows this single malt to patiently mellow, mature, and pick up deeper notes of ripe fruit and dried raisins from the fortified Portuguese wine casks.

Producer’s Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep mahogany.
Nose: Rich aromas of fresh honey and ripe summer fruits combine with delicate notes of sweet hazelnuts and cacao.
Palate: Deep rich flavours of dark chocolate and toffee precede notes of vanilla sweetness, then toasted nuts and just a hint of charred oak.
Finish: Long and delicate, synonymous of the subtle flavour journey of this unique triple wood single malt whiskey.
