Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt is a rich and creamy blended Scotch whisky from the great minds at Springbank, one of Campbeltown’s finest distilleries.
Springbank are not just known for their single malts, they have also produced blended malts like their award-winning Campbeltown Loch. It takes its name from the sea loch at Campbeltown, and possibly to bring a little reality to the folk song of the same name (Oh! Campbeltown Loch, Ah wish ye were whisky!).
Matured in a combination of Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks, vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown.
Enjoy Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt neat or with a splash of water to really unlock its complex flavour profile. It also shines on the rocks.
Nose: A distinct buttery note and characteristic hint of sea salt introduce this dram, along with notes of ginger loaf and pecan pie.
Palate: Creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and crystallised brown sugar on the palate, with a subtle hint of peat smoke.
Finish: The peat smoke builds in the finish, with a leathery note developing over time.
