Champagne Delavenne Âme de Vitalie Grand Cru NV is a brand new champagne named after Vitalie, a fifth-generation member of the Delavenne family.
Delavenne show a strong commitment to preserving Champagne’s production traditions. They also aim to show utmost respect for their terroir. They remain family-owned and are now in their fourth generation. The producers work their own vines, harvest the grapes and then press them all on the estate.
All Delavenne’s champagnes are grand cru, utilising the highest quality of grapes in small production runs of just 65,000 to 70,000 bottles per year.
Born in Bouzy on a south-facing hillside where black soil lays upon chalk, clay and calcite, this 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay blend is a delight. It is a non-vintage solera blend of 11 different vintages spending up to 10 years on lees, delivering consistency across every bottle.
