The estate of de Pez was established in the 15th century, making it one of the oldest in Saint-Estèphe. The property was bought in 1995 by Champagne Louis Roederer who, with their knowhow, immediately began by upgrading the cellars and improving the vineyards.
The 2014 vintage produced a powerful, voluptuous wines with firm tannins. Complex aromas of spice and red fruits. The palate is long with smooth, elegant tannins and notes of black fruits and ripe, juicy strawberries.
