Château Martinolles Crémant de Limoux is a deliciously refreshing traditional method sparkling wine made in the sunny south of France at a beautiful château.

Owned by Paul Mas, Château Martinolles has 84 hectares of land under vine and enjoys a sunny Mediterranean climate. The soil is a mixture of gravelly clay, sand and limestone.

This wine boasts a blend of 60% Chardonnay, 20% Chenin Blanc, 10% Pinot Noir, and 10% Mauzac (a Limoux regional varietal).

The grapes were picked by hand then pressed in whole bunches. The producers racked the wine at low temperature then conducted a traditional method fermentation, with the first fermentation taking place in vats and the second in bottles. The wine rested on its lees in bottle for 15 months. It was then disgorged three months before launch.

Enjoy Château Martinolles Crémant de Limoux served at 6 to 8 °C. It shines either as an aperitif or alongside fresh seafood like oysters.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

Colour: Pale and limpid yellow, delicate, nice, dancing and persistent bubbles.

Nose: Intense and refined, honey and acacia aromas join subtle hints of crystallised citrus fruits.

Palate: Wonderful harmony, very good balance of sugar and acidity. Fruits remain on the persistent yet delicate finish.
