Cragganmore 12 Year Old

Cragganmore means “big rock” in Gaelic. It is made with lightly smoked barley which adds to the complexity of this charming, toasty, medium-bodied malt whisky which quite unjustly tends to be neglected by many whisky drinkers.

For many, the definitive Speyside.

Tasting notes:

Appearance: Gold

Nose: A combination of sweet floral fragrances, riverside herbs and flowers with some honey and vanilla. “The most complex nose of any Single Malt Scotch Whisky” (Michael Jackson).

Body: Firm, rounded, light to medium

Palate: A strong malty taste with hints of sweet wood smoke and sandalwood

Finish: A long, malt-driven finish with light smoke and hints of sweetness
