Great wine comes from extraordinary grapes, and Cuvée William Deutz is the embodiment of this philosophy.
Created in honour of the founder of Champagne Deutz, Cuvée William Deutz is only made in years when nature bestows on the Champagne region an exceptional harvest (on average, one year in three).
The cuvée is aged a minimum of five years in Deutz cellars buried 25 meters (82 feet) underground to ensure ideal conditions of humidity and temperature.
A golden colour with crystal-bright reflections, a powerfully rich and expressive nose with aromas of stewed white peaches, underscored by
hints of honey, spices, preserved ginger and nutmeg.
The palate is lively, crisp and well-defined, exuding delicate flavours of spices and fresh biscuit, with touches of stewed fruit, honey and roasted fresh almonds.
The finish is silky complex and refined, with long lingering aromas.
