The Dalmore Distillery, founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, is located in Alness, Scotland, along the shores of the Cromarty Firth.
It enjoys a strong reputation for its rich and complex single malt whiskies. The distillery’s iconic stag logo and long-standing heritage reflect its commitment to quality and tradition in whisky production.
Dalmore has an innovative approach to cask finishes, pushing the boundaries of whisky maturation. From Marsala wine casks to Cabernet Sauvignon casks, the brand explores unique partnerships with vineyards and winemakers. This then creates limited-edition expressions that showcase exceptional flavours and unexpected nuances.
The Dalmore Portwood Reserve is an indulgent smooth single malt matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and aged Tawny Port pipes. This skilfully marries The Dalmore’s rich Highland style with the opulent character of Port. Above all, this whisky is a celebration of Dalmore’s long-standing relationship with Graham’s Port Lodge in Portugal, one of the world’s great wineries.
