Maker’s Mark Cask Strength Batch 20-01 is a rich, luscious and robust expression of a classic American whisky, bottled at 55.05% ABV. If you’re a big fan of the classic bourbon (made with a mash bill featuring red winter wheat instead of rye), and you’re also a fan of whiskies with a big flavour profile, this is exactly what you’re after.
Makers Mark recipe is not a secret: 70% corn, 14% Malted Barley and 16% Red Winter Wheat. Soft red winter wheat, instead of the usual rye, creates a one-of-a-kind, full-flavoured bourbon that’s easy to drink.
Bottled at barrel proof, Maker’s Mark Cask Strength ranges from 108 to 114 proof depending on the barrels.
Surprisingly smooth, this bourbon retains the signature, front-of-the-palate flavours of Maker’s Mark while amping up the vanilla and rich oak notes.
