The Montagnac cellar was established in 1937. Today, its vineyards span across 7 communes along the shores of Thau lake, nestled in the hilly terrain of Hérault.
Covering approximately 2,000 hectares, grapes are processed at 2 distinct locations, primarily on clay-limestone soil with occasional patches of marl.
The climate is Mediterranean, characterized by dry, sweltering summers and milder conditions near the coast.
The grapes are harvested during the cool night and immediately shielded with inert gases to prevent oxidation.
They employ direct pressing with skin maceration, followed by cold must settling to maximize aromas.
The wine displays a pale yellow hue with shimmering hints of green.
It offers a bouquet of intricate floral notes and ripe white peach, delivering a well-rounded and vibrant palate.
Pair it perfectly as an aperitif or alongside seafood, fish, and pasta dishes.
