Numanthia produce an almost uniquely concentrated and powerful wine from Tempranillo. The grapes are sourced form multiple vineyards that harvest grapes from ungrafted vines that are between 70 and 100 years old. The wine sees an eighteen-month maturation in French oak barriques. It is remarkably dense despite total de-stemming of bunches before fermentation and only gentle punching down before racking into barrel to mature.
