The wines of this vineyard area are world-renown and this is a wine that may well be the perfect introduction to the joys of fine white Burgundy.
Thirty five percent of the wine is aged in new oak imparting smoke and toast to complement the honeyed and stone fruit characteristics on the palate.
It is a rich and ripe wine with considerable length on the palate. Although it is a fine wine we think that the purity and intensity of the fruit characteristics are what make this wine most charming and would advise drinking within ten years of the vintage.
