Ruinart Rosé is a delicious rosé Champagne from the region’s oldest reputed producer of sparkling wine.
The Ruinart Champagne house, founded in 1729, produces premium sparkling wine, and is still family-run, with each generation revealing a Head of House with specific talents who puts his service to the descendants. Their reputation for blanc de blancs is particularly strong.
It strikes a perfect balance between a light and approachable style of rosé and more concentrated wines that show more blood orange characteristics. Simply put: this wine is a joy.
It’s a blanc de blancs formula but with 15% Pinot Nori added. This wine is a sublime golden pink in colour, a subtle nose of cherry and freshly-picked red berries leads to a fleshy and delightfully smooth finish. This cuvée’s fresh character is combined with a refined structure and delicate roundness.
Winemakers harvest the grapes for this wine by hand and make it using a blend of 30–40 crus including 20–30% reserve wine kept from a range of vintages. It ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats , then ages in Ruinart’s cellars for 2-3 years.
Enjoy Ruinart Rosé as an aperitif for special occasions. It also pairs beautifully with duck fillet, pink grapefruit, pomegranate and fresh salads.
