Using only 100% Irish malted barley, Waterford’s Single Farm Origin series is a range of Limited Edition whiskies that explore Irish ‘Terroir’.
These whiskies are non-chill filtered with no additives or colouring. The terroir-driven approach of Waterford means all their whiskies reflect the regions which made them.
In the rain shadow of the Wicklow Mountains, the Slaney river winds its way southwards through County Wexford. Here Robert Milne exploits one of Ireland’s premier barley terroirs. Farming now with his son and nephew, five generations of his family have farmed these fertile fields with their loamy, clay soils. They thus impart a unique character to the barley, which is meticulously malted for this exquisite whisky.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: A golden barley appearance with oils that slowly caress the glass.
Nose: Fruity aromas firstly hit the nose alongside milk chocolate, rhubarb and custard.
Taste: Green apple greets the palate coated in caramel, cloves and custard with liquorice and mint chocolate.
Finish: Gentle with heat that lingers in your mouth and as it slowly fades. Oiliness then sits alongside spicy chocolate.
