Redbreast 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is a fruity, warming barley whiskey matured in Bourbon and Sherry casks.
Redbreast is distilled at the Midleton Distillery, where it began life two hundred years ago. It epitomises the Irish Single Pot Still art.
Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in copper pot stills, Redbreast 12 boasts the flavour complexity and distinctive qualities of Pot Still whiskey. The production methods impart a silky, creamy mouthfeel.
Matured in a combination of Bourbon seasoned American Oak barrels and Oloroso Sherry seasoned Spanish oak butts, the distinctive Redbreast sherry style is a joy to behold in each and every bottle.
Its Christmas cake character offers notes of raisins, prunes, figs, nuts, malt extract and hints of cigar box.

Nose: A complex spicy and fruity aroma with toasted wood notes evident.
