FEW Bourbon Whiskey is a classic Kentucky bourbon aged in oak.
It’s bursting with sweet, spicy flavours like toffee, clove and cardamom.
This spirit, distilled through timeless liquor-making techniques, utilises a three-grain recipe. FEW’s distillers infuse generations of Southern corn whiskey-making with the spiciness of northern rye, as well as a touch of malt for smoothness. FEW is hand-crafted through a small-batch process in charred oak barrels to age its bourbon whiskey.
In short, it’s a fully grain-to-glass spirit.
FEW Spirits hails from Evanston, Illinois, in the United States of America, a city that suffered Prohibition for over one hundred years thanks to many of its advocates hailing from its dry streets. Thankfully Evanston is now home to this excellent craft distillery. It takes its name ironically from the initials of Frances Elizabeth Willard, a key figure in the Temperance Movement.
With subtle notes of cherry juice and peach lemonade on the nose, this is a perfect whiskey for lovers of spiced and fruity bourbon. The palate is sweet with notes of toffee, caramel and cloves. Its finish is nutty and lingering, filled with warm spice and then syrup notes.
