SirDavis American Whisky is an award-winning American whisky founded by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter. She crafted it in partnership with Moët Hennessy and five-time International Whisky Competition Master Distiller of the Year, Dr. Bill Lumsden.
Whisky has always been Beyoncé’s drink of choice. After discovering that her great-grandfather Davis Logue was an illicit whisky distiller during Prohibition she quickly understood why her own love for whisky ran so deep. Then, the SirDavis brand was born. The name comes from Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles telling her that when he visited his grandfather at the distillery, it was the first time he had heard a Black man called “Sir”.
Here the complexity of rye is married with the elegance of malted barley. Finished to perfection in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, a harmony of spice with sublime hints of fruit.

Producer’s Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep Copper.
Aroma: Tangy Seville oranges mingle with soft sun-kissed raisins. Then sizzling spices of clove, cinnamon, and ginger play with luxurious notes of Demerara sugar and toffee.
Palate: Rich and buttery toffee joins an array of spices with cinnamon, clove, and classic rye spice up front. After this come soft, malty and biscuity notes intertwined with a vibrant citrus top note.
Finish: Hints of honey appear with a soft, lingering finish reminiscent of plump sultanas and ripe cherries.
