Aalborg Jubilæums Akvavit is a traditional Scandinavian distilled spirit with a clean and refreshing palate.
Akvavit is a typical Scandinavian spirit usually drunk at times of special celebration. Aalborg Jubilæums is flavoured with dill, coriander, star anise and citrus. Unlike most other aquavits, it is completely free of caraway seeds. This gives it an elegant, balanced taste with dill and coriander as the mainstays, but with fine contributions from star anise, citrus and caramel in slightly smaller roles.
It was originally created to celebrate the distiller’s one hundredth anniversary, hence the name, which in English means “jubilee”.
Enjoy Aalborg Jubilæums Akvavit neat during a special dinner, or as an aperitif.
