A top notch vermouth which has been produced for over 120 years and used by bartenders the world over to create the classic Negroni cocktail. It is a blend of red wine from Piedmont plus many herbs and spices such as Artemisia, china calissaia, arancio amaro, rabarbaro and rhubarb amongst others which leads to a rich, velvety flavour. Expect lots of cocoa, bitter orange, balsamic, rosemary, sandal wood, nutmeg and myrrh. A complex and characterful vermouth of superior quality.
