Sourced from one of Provence’s most celebrated terroirs, AIX Rosé Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence aims to be the purest possible expression of a rosé wine.

High up in the hills just north of Aix-en-Provence, away from the heat of the coast, you’ll find a set of ancient stone gates.

Beyond them lies the Maison Saint Aix estate. Here, they dedicate themselves to capturing the essence of this iconic terroir in a single premium rosé.

Producer Tasting Notes

AIX Rosé Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence is a well-balanced premium rosé with a captivating salmon pink hue.

The nose is fresh and aromatic, delicate yet youthful. It displays refined notes of fresh red fruits, peach, and subtle floral hints.

On the palate, the wine is smooth and aromatic, with a fresh, slightly mineral finish that lingers long and precisely.

Producer Information

With its mineral-rich soils, 300 days of sunshine each year, and the cooling Mistral winds, Provence provides perfect conditions for growing. Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault grapes are the classic recipe used to make AIX Rosé

Maison Saint Aix is one of the largest domaines in the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation. At 420m above sea level, it’s also one of the highest. And thanks to that elevation, they enjoy cooler nights and a greater Mistral effect, drying the vines on dewy mornings – making the fruit even better.

In the past decade, they have completely transformed the estate, from the vineyards to the cellar. With their advanced equipment they can produce rosé of the exceptional quality unique to Provence. This includes temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, pneumatic presses, and next-generation harvesting machinery.

The domaine’s Grenache vines, which are 50 to 60 years old, ensure the highest quality ‘jus.’ Meanwhile, the fruit from the younger vines contributes a refreshing quality.

To maintain the harmony of the land, the estate run a busy replanting schedule – replacing up 4 hectares a year with new vines.
