Aluna Coconut Rum is a smooth, refreshing and tropical flavoured rum with a luscious mouthfeel – perfect for summery cocktails!
Aluna’s Guatemalan rum uses first-press sugar cane fermented with yeast from the pineapple plant. This creates a light, floral and smooth rum with a natural subtle sweetness to which we add selected classic, young Caribbean rums to give classic rum character and strength, creating an elegant, balanced blend.
They blend these rums with all-natural toasted coconut and pure, sustainably sourced coconut water which extends the fresh, coconutty flavour and gives the rum a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel.
It’s created at the Aluna headquarters in Surrey, England. They’re a new brand, founded by a group of friends and focused on making drinks with natural ingredients and reduced sugar. They make all their drinks mindfully. Moreover, they donate a minimum of 1% of their sales to environmental non-profit organisations.
