Alvaro Domecq crafts La Janda Vermut with exceptional care in Jerez, Andalusia. This distinguished Spanish vermouth begins with a base of Palomino and Pedro Ximénez grapes, both native to the Jerez region and traditionally used to produce fine sherries. The winemakers then blend the wine with a carefully selected mix of botanicals, including wormwood, orange peel, and a variety of aromatic herbs

The vermouth matures in seasoned American oak casks, using the traditional solera system. This ageing process imparts a rich complexity and depth to the final product. On the nose, La Janda Vermut offers a bold bouquet of spiced orange, dried herbs, and sweet caramel. Hints of cinnamon and clove add warmth and intrigue.

On the palate, it is velvety, with layers of citrus, gentle bitterness, and a whisper of sweetness. The Pedro Ximénez adds a mellow raisin note, balanced beautifully by the drier Palomino. It finishes long and clean, with lingering flavours of spice and oak.

Serve it chilled over ice with a slice of orange to highlight its citrus character. Alternatively, enjoy it in classic cocktails such as the Negroni or Manhattan. This vermouth is versatile, equally at home in mixology or as a refined aperitif.
