Astélia Sauvignon Blanc comes from the best vineyards across Jean-Claude’s seven estates. Two vineyards in particular, the ‘La Plaine’ plot, at Château de Conas, on loam soils and ‘Altros Dos’ from the chalky soils of Château Arrogant Frog, are both farmed organically according to bio-dynamic principles.
This Sauvignon displays aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits, followed by notes of honey. It is full in the mouth, soft and crisp, with fresh lemony notes on the finish.
