Château Puybarbe is situated at the highest elevation of the Côtes de Bourg appellation overlooking the right bank of the Gironde estuary.
The 41-hectare vineyard comprises predominantly Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon and is farmed according to sustainable philosophies.
Château Puybarbe uses no herbicides or chemical fertilisers and is both HVE (High Environmental Value) and ISO 14001 certified since 2017.
This medium-bodied wine is aged for 11 months in French oak casks.
Merlot 88% – Cabernet Sauvignon 12% with small percentages of Malbec and Cabernet Franc.
