The batches of this highly sought after gin are always small as befits the rugged nature of the islands. Only 400 species of plants can thrive here in the windy and often wet conditions of this coastal paradise.
Distilled with kelp, water mint and sea buckthorn from the Scottish coast with a strong juniper backbone, Blackwoods Navy Strength gin has bold citrus notes from fresh grapefruit and lime along with lemon and orange. Fennel and liquorice lend sweetness, while black pepper balances with a bite of spice. The finish is exceptionally smooth with a delicate floral quality.
Blackwoods Navy Strength Gin 60% ABV is a well-rounded classic gin that stands up beautifully in a variety of cocktails. It shines in a classic Negroni, a punchy Gin & Tonic, or a crisp Martini.
