The eight best sites for Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Syrah and Merlot are chosen to produce the grapes that will create Blecua.
Located in different areas of Somontano, these vineyards are characterised by different micro-climates. This means that they all produce different fruit, with different characteristics and greater complexity.
Work in these vineyards is carried out solely by hand, with the utmost care and constant monitoring. Harvesting is always carried out in each of the vineyards separately and each bunch picked at its optimum moment of ripeness.
Spectacular deep cherry colour with violet nuances. Complex and intense on the nose, it exhibits elegant aromas from ageing in oak barrels together with black fruit, menthol, liquorice and fig. Full bodied and well structured, its fruity richness stands out along with toasted wood and spice notes. This is a wine that is delicious for drinking on release, although it will continue to improve in the bottle for at least 10 years.
