The Peique family story began in Valtuille de Abajo, a village of less than 200 people, located in the Bierzo area of León. They currently have 40 hectares of vineyards.
The Godello grapes used to make is wine are grown at high altitude, from vines with an average age of 15 years.
When the hand harvested grapes reach the winery, they are macerated for 6 to 7 hours at 10 ºC. Fermentation takes place over 10 days in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine rests for a further 5 months on its fine lees.
Straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights and intense citrus, green apple and tropical fruit aromas.
This wine is fruit-forward, fresh and lively with superb minerality and depth.
