Booth’s Cask Aged Gin is a mellow, aromatic gin aged in sherry casks, offering notes of rosemary, grapefruit and camphor.

Booth’s began life in London around 1740. The Booth family’s distillery in Clerkenwell quickly became a key player in the early gin boom.

Known for its trademark red lion and hexagonal bottle, Booth’s is quite possibly the oldest gin brand in existence today. This iconic spirit was once a fixture behind countless bars. In recent years, only vintage bottles have surfaced, tucked away in forgotten pub cellars or hidden within family drinks cabinets.

This barrel-aged version of their gin is aged for a period of time in casks previously used for sherry wine. This imparts a distinct golden colour and subtle sherry notes.

This gin is bottled at 45% ABV.

Enjoy Booth’s Cask Aged Gin over ice with your favourite tonic and a slice of lemon. The sherry cask influence ought to shine in Negronis and similar cocktails, too.

Producer’s Tasting Notes

A mellow, aromatic dry gin from Booth’s that aged in casks that previously held Pedro Ximenez sherry. The palate offers notes of rosemary, grapefruit, camphor, lemon, chamomile and then soft oak spice that linger in the finish.
