Breitenbach Lapis Terasz Furmint is a semi-dry Hungarian white wine with a nuanced palate of fruit and minerality.
Breitenbach is an artisanal winery whose philosophy is for natural grape growing and winemaking.
Their speciality is Dry Szamorodni, and they cultivate Furmint and other native Hungarian varieties exclusively in first and second-division historical areas, hand-picking all grapes from the 45 to 90-year-old vines.
This wine is a sophisticated and harmonious Tokaji white that is still rather youthful, and slightly lean and restrained in style.
Enjoy Breitenbach Lapis Terasz Furmint as an accompaniment to fish and poultry dishes.
Producer’s Tasting Notes
Gold colour, intense flavours of apricots, melon, grass, quince, honey, butter, oak, mushroom, earthy, salt, minerals. Off dry with high acidity, full body, a creamy surface and a medium finish. Has ageing potential.
