Buffalo Trace Distillery, in partnership with the Chicago Rabbinical Council (cRc), produced this Rye Recipe Bourbon Whiskey.
Buffalo Trace use the same high-quality grains as their Bourbon Whiskey to create this Kosher spirit. It is aged in specifically designated Kosher barrels.
To meet Passover requirements, a non-Jewish executive bought these barrels in a ceremony witnessed by a cRc representative.
After ageing for seven years, they bottled this Rye Recipe Bourbon at 47% ABV. They ensured the bottling lines were cleaned beforehand and that no non-Kosher spirits made contact.
They release this bold and independent Rye Recipe Bourbon each year after Passover, celebrating its heritage from America’s oldest continually-operating distillery.
